Rallying from a sixteen-point hole in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks emerged victorious 38-37 at home, registering their fifth consecutive win.

While the Rams had already secured a playoff spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team booked their return to the postseason after a two-year hiatus.

With this outcome, the Seahawks now lead their division's race with a 12-3 record, supplanting the Los Angeles, who dropped to the fifth playoff position with an 11-4 record.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two interceptions but regrouped to make two touchdown passes, culminating in the tying score to star receiver Smith-Njigba in overtime.

The visitors held a 13-7 lead at the break before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a long scoring dash for the home side.

Los Angeles cornerback Josh Wallace then took back Darnold's initial interception for a big return, leading to a one-yard touchdown by Blake Corum on the next play.
